July 4th is just around the corner. We hope you are preparing for a perfect holiday weekend.

Kayak Rally:
Start anywhere on the lake at 8:30am using any non-motorized watercraft and race to collect tickets from various flagged locations around the lake. Bring your tickets to the Rt. 28 boat launch by 12:00 noon to be entered into a drawing for some great prizes. Don’t forget a pen to write your name and phone on the tickets and a baggie to keep them dry.

We are still looking for shoreline volunteers to fly a flag and distribute tickets to rally participants. If you are willing to help, please call Pete Walkes at (914) 217-6770

Boat Parade:
Decorate your boats and meet at One Tree Island at 1:30pm

Ring of Fire:
Light your flares along the shoreline at 9:00pm and enjoy the evening. Flares will be available July 4th at the Rt 28 Boat Launch from 11:30am – 1:00pm.

Merchandise:
KLC logo merchandise, as well as flares for the Ring of Fire, will be available July 4th at the Rt. 28 Boat Launch at 11:30am and 1:00pm, or call Pete Walkes at (914) 217-6770.
