The seasonal lake refill is scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The flashboards will be added on top of the main spillway and the sluice gate will be closed in accordance with our DEC permit.
With lake levels currently reduced, this is your final opportunity to complete any dock installation, waterfront repairs, or shoreline work before rising water makes access difficult or impossible. Lakefront property owners are encouraged to make full use of this weekend (March 29–30) and the week of March 31–April 3 to finish all necessary work.
Please ensure all equipment, materials, and personnel are off the lakebed before the refill begins on April 4. The rate at which the lake reaches summer level will depend, as always, on rainfall and remaining snowmelt in our watershed.
