Saturday, August 1, noon to 2:00pm – Annual Community Lake Day at One Tree.
The KLC’s Annual Community Lake Day will take place on Saturday, August 1st, from 12 to 2 pm on One Tree Island. Enjoy some time with your family and neighbors and by all means, make a few new friends. KLC Directors will be available to discuss any lake-related issues. KLC merchandise will also be available.

Burgers, dogs, and soft drinks are on the house. Lake Day Raffle tickets are almost sold out, $20 each – $5,000 in cash prizes. Check with any KLC Director to see if there are tickets available. The prize drawing will take place at 2 pm. Money raised from the raffle will be used to support the many KLC programs that help improve the lake and dam. |
This event brings out dozens of large and small boats and usually well over 100 party-goers. Please be considerate of the no-wake zones around One-Tree, and even though boat stewards will be available to help, be careful when docking or anchoring your boats.
Sunday August 2, 1:30 to 3:30pm – Free Concert on the lake by the Ghent Band.
Anchor your boats just south of One Tree in the middle bay and enjoy a free concert by The Ghent Band. Bring some snacks and drinks, tie up in flotillas if you like, and enjoy the afternoon as the Ghent Band plays along the eastern shore of the middle bay.
