Kinderhook Lake will be treated with ProcellaCor
to control Eurasian watermilfoil in accordance with our DEC permit on

Wednesday, June 24, 2026

To ensure the treatments’ success and comply with regulations, please note the following:
  • NO IRRIGATION: Lake water should not be used for irrigation or livestock watering for about one week following the treatment (until concentrations of the active ingredient are below 1ppb).
  • NO BOATING: No boating throughout the day of treatment. Wake and water movement can disturb or redistribute the herbicide away from the intended target—milfoil.
  • NO SWIMMING: No swimming permitted on the day of treatment.
Signage will be posted around the lake prior to the treatment and removed once the irrigation restriction is lifted. Notifications will also be posted here on the KLC website and our Facebook Page.

Raise your glasses and toast a milfoil-free lake for another few years!
